POSTCARD FROM DEAUVILLE

Deauville July 2015
When Paris hits +40 C you have to escape the city. My best and quickest getaway is to go to Deauville. We took Brian’s car and picked up some friends on our way out. When we arrived Jessica, Katarina and me, were not late to jump in to the ocean.

Hope you had an amazing weekend and happy belated 4th of July!

PLAGE DE PASSABLE

15/06/06 - 11:40

Cap Ferrat 2015

Another favorite beach in Cap Ferrat is Plage de Passable overlooking the charming little village Villefranche. Enjoy a fresh salad and an amazing desert over here. What’s great is that you get the afternoon sun, which I prefer and then you slowly see the sun set (if you stay that long)…

LA RESERVE DE LA MALA

Cap Ferrat 2015

My favorite beach on the French Riviera is La Réserve on Plage Mala in Cap D’Ail. I’ve been going here since I was young and it is still very good especially the food and the bay itself is so beautifu. I recommend you to get the kicken spring rolls, tuna quino salad and some aperol spritz – tada!

ABOUT LAST NIGHT

15/06/01 - 04:42

Cap Ferrat 2015

Saturday morning we took the car to go to Nice to have a continental breakfast in the old town and then to pop by my favorite vintage store Caprice, where I found this Italien jumpsuit from the 60’s. I’ve been looking for a one-piece for a very long time but since I’m fairly petite I find the hunt rather difficult and painful than fun and smooth, since few of them seem to fit me well (love a perfect fit). The best thing though with this jumpsuit (and that’s why I fell for it) is that I feel free and a bit like a tomboy but still dressed up and chic in it, especially with the crepe silk fabric used and the V-cut embroidery. To it I’m wearing my good old SAINT LAURENT monogram bag and my fantastic Baby Zotsass transparent heels from APERLAÏ. If you want to find my best Nice vintage guide click here.

AFTER SUN

15/05/31 - 10:37

Cap Ferrat 2015Ever had too much sun or accidentally gotten burnt by it? If so your best friend has arrived BIAFINE – you can find it at any pharmacy in France, it works simultaneous like an after sun and body lotion. Simply magical and btw I love the packaging.

THE LBD

15/05/31 - 02:37

Cap Ferrat 2015

Friday evening I turned my black midi shirt into a little black dress – et voilà! Love A-shapes right now! Before going out we had dinner in Nice at restaurant called Rosalina Bar that truly recommend and then we were off to Monaco. This is what I was wearing a ‘dress’ from ZARA, earrings from OSCAR DE LA RENTA, clutch from GIVENCHY, bracelet and gold wedges from SAINT LAURENT.

What could possibly be better than beautiful, fashion-forward art? Fashion illustrations made with food of course! Instagram artist Gretchen Roehrs use fruits, bread and clam shells to illustrate high fashion. Creations by Givenchy, Sonia Rykiel, Jason Wu and Rei Kawakubo amongst others are a few of the designer outfits being depicted into ladies wearing lettuce, strawberries and peaches. […]

The tons of makeup, sparkling tight dresses and sky high heels we are used to see Kim Kardashian West in are no where to be found in Vogue España August 2015 cover editorial photographed by Theo Wenner. We all know putting on makeup can change who we are.
