If you’re looking to spice up your fall/winter wardrobe and worried about that it’s going to cost you a fortune, I would suggest you to focus on the small things. Being very minimalistic in my taste, I’m a true believer that it’s all in the details and then how you style it. With small tweaks and major attention to details your old stuff will soon start transforming into something new and exotic, something that will make you send out a certain attitude and energy when walking down the street that makes you and other feel good. If it’s the actual styling, ‘spot on’ combination or the item itself, I don’t know but what I do know is that it is an intangible feeling called ‘style’. Regardless if you have it or not, here’s some of my favorite New York Fashion Week street moments back in September that gives me plenty of inspiration that I thought I share with you. Maybe you agree, maybe not. But hopefully it is more tangible!

A sweet hello from Central Park! I’m here a week and I couldn’t be happier. Miss my old city! Yesterday we wonder around in the park embracing the sun (it’s still summer here!) and enjoyed an apero at the Boathouse.

DISCO BIRDS! I guess I’m not the only one to say it but it can’t hurt to say it one more time – this NYFW collection was the best. We’ve already seen the homage of the 70’s taken over but finally RODARTE comes and do something unconventionally perfect. The disco flicks mixed with hot pumas ruling the runway in a 60’s rock going 70’s glam appearance. Something that brings me vibes from Tom Ford’s golden days back at GUCCI, which is a pretty good grade. I definitely have to get my hands on the patent leather bomber and the V-cut blouse, just saying…

Something that inspires me are people with style and their different styles. Last day of NYFW and so far the best inspiration aside from the streets has been RODARTE.

In the homage of the 70’s, FRAME DENIM presented their Fall 2015 collection earlier today in New York. A collection that not only consisted of jeans this time but a full wardrobe. It echoes minimalism with its clean lines, 70’s shapes and cuts, natural color palette and accessories. Besides the collection the model herself actually kind of remind me of Vanessa Paradise, which brings me to Paris and the peak era of Jane Birkin. Vibes I don’t mind at all, but who would? Regarding bringing back the flared denim, I haven’t been back since 1997 when I use to wear my GUL & BLÅ jean day and night, I welcome them with open arms. Love the high waist too. My only concern, however, is that I have to wait an entire semester to have what Grede and Torstensson referred to as “chic essentials”…
